Nancy Lee Sellars, 93, uses her old style, foot pedal operated sewing machine to sew garments for family and friends at her home in Cherokee County, South Carolina. Sewing machines such as this one were a way of life before the new-fangled electric ones came along. This photograph was shot on Kodak Tri-X Pan 35mm black and white film.
